It all started with a simple LinkedIn post about the transformative power of pilgrimage. Santiago wrote to Jaime to meet in person and share their experiences on the Camino.
A friendship
From that conversation, they realized they had much more in common. Above all, they shared the same concern: to create unique experiences based on faith and revitalize the church.
A seed
The two friends set out to create Stella Mariae to help others experience the transformative journey of pilgrimage.

Jaime
Co-Founder
He has been accompanying groups of travelers through Mexico and Spain for more than 7 years. He has completed The Camino 3 times.
Jaime Marcen de Buen
Santiago
Co-Founder
He has completed The Camino 3 times and has also made pilgrimages on foot to Lourdes (France), Kalwaria (Poland), and the WYD in Krakow and Lisbon.
